Message from the Dean

Dear Young Friends,

The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Tarsus University is a student-centered faculty that upholds ethical values and places great importance on students’ ideas and perspectives. We offer you a sincere academic environment characterized by constant interaction.

One of the greatest strengths of our relatively young faculty is its dynamic and competent academic staff, composed of young scholars who hold PhDs from reputable universities and who possess both strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in their fields.

Our curriculum is designed to enhance your ability to observe, analyze, and apply knowledge; to foster objective, critical, and logical thinking; and to equip you with the qualifications that will increase your employability after graduation. Moreover, each of our departments provides a rich pool of elective courses that reinforce interdisciplinary connections and allow students to tailor their education according to their talents, interests, and inclinations—preparing them to adapt to a rapidly changing world.

Our faculty offers two undergraduate programs. The medium of instruction in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration is Turkish. In the Department of Management Information Systems, there is an English preparatory year, and 30% of the courses are taught in English.

Through the education you will receive in our interdisciplinary programs, we aim to nurture competent, sensitive, productive, self-improving, and solution-oriented individuals. Our goal is to open the doors to professional careers where you can take on roles in leadership, supervision, and administration in both the public and private sectors—turning your dreams into reality.

With a dedicated academic staff that follows national and international developments closely, contributes to science through valuable research, and is always warm, sincere, and dynamic, we look forward to welcoming you to Tarsus—a unique and ancient hub where science, art, culture, and education flourish in the heart of Anatolia and where the history of humanity is deeply rooted.
Prof. Dr. Ali Deran
